VICA XII olaj, vászon, 129x87 cm, 2015.jpg

This series, titled 'VICA,' embodies a cohesive and harmonious exploration of style and form. It delves into the interplay between the human body, drapery, and movement, seeking to capture a unique essence.

In these artworks, my aim was to convey a subtle narrative where the model appears to be either dressing or undressing, without making nudity or sensuality the focal point. I achieved this by crafting unconventional poses that offer only hints of the human form, artfully cloaked in carefully painted garments.

Within these paintings, I've skillfully blended three-dimensionality with a sense of flatness, deliberately leaving an impression of incompleteness to allow the compositions to breathe. The background, intentionally left mostly untouched, serves as a backdrop that accentuates the model's presence, their dynamic movements, and the graceful flow of the drapery.
