Natural Self Portrait 8.JPG

The genesis of this series finds its roots in a serendipitous visit to a botanical garden, a moment when I stood in awe of the captivating beauty of the flowers and plants. Their unique shapes and vibrant colors left an indelible impression on me. I felt a deep desire to become one with their splendor, to weave myself into their tapestry of beauty.

In terms of technique, I employed the timeless medium of oil on wood. I intentionally centered my focus on the subjects, allowing the background to breathe by leaving certain areas blank. This artistic choice adds depth and dimension to each piece, accentuating the harmonious relationship between myself and the natural world I sought to capture.
