Coordinates series

This series was inspired by the aerial landscapes of the Earth. Once I opened the map and noticed how diversed our planet's surface is. The colors and shapes are very exciting and some parts look like a complete painting.
I randomly browsed the map and chose my pictures then painted them. It was an enjoyable experience, because while exploring places I learnt of many new locations. After this I got the idea that I will not name the paintings after the places' original names, but let the viewer discover by himself as I did, therefore I named them by their coordinates. This way could also lead the viewer to learn more about the paintings' names, like their locations and surroundings, to which country or continent they belong to. By gaining the paintings's names by ourselves (and not provided by the artist). It is a more thorough experience than reading a title and then move on and not think about it more detailed.

It is more interesting to connect pieces than an already made puzzle
